PS/FW Tutorial: Simple Image merge.
Lets say you want to add a nice background to an image. Example: and the back ground you want to add is this: Open PS or FW and open the background image, make it fill the canvas. Next open the solid white logo and place it over the flag. In the layers panel in FW click the drop down box and set it to multiply. In PS ndouble click the logo layer and set blending to multiply. You will end up with a perfect logo like this:

Hey, sweet trick! I would have been cutting, or removing the white, or something like that!

Thats what I dod before I discovered layer blending.

Wow, thats amazing, also the first time that my computer hasn;t froze whilst using fireworks :D, and the first time that something has worked properly, now all i haver to do is find a practical use for it :roll:
